The Valley of Happiness
Landscapes
are very much of the Chinese culture and paintings of landscapes
are regarded as elegant and sophisticated especially if found
in a living, studying room or in the office. In the other meaning
of having landscapes for home decoration is about Feng Shui, ancient
Chinese art of living. In Feng Shui, landscapes of mountain with
waterfall symbolize to water (waterfall) and earth (mountain)
elements. Water is a very useful element as water nourishes all
living things and always been synonymous with power. Also earth,
the element is used in certain situations to correct for problem
present and protection.
Throughout
oriental cultures, crane is symbolized peace, happiness, ultimate
wisdom, and eternal youth and has inspired the creation of many
beautiful wedding. Crane motifs are used in wedding decoration
as cranes mate for life and are devoted to their partners in all
seasons. The two cranes flying above the water signify peace and
wisdom that come with age.
The
Valley of Happiness is composed of much precious auspiciousness
and good to decorate in guest room but not for bedroom since bedroom
is supposed to be place of the yin (or rest) whiles the picture
is the yang power.
