The happiness of conjugal fidelity is one of the most glorious blessing for marriage couple not just in oriental country but through out all over the world. Chinese folklore believe that Mandarin ducks are regarded as love symbols, married bliss, happiness, perfect satisfaction and highly esteem the Mandarin Duck, which exhibit, as they think, a most striking example of conjugal attachment and fidelity. A pair of them is frequently placed in a gaily decorated cage and carried in the marriage processions, to be presented to the bride and groom as worthy objects of emulation.

Lotus flower is mostly recognized as purity symbol, livability and reproduction which all concern to Buddhism. But as another symbolic character of the lotus flower leads from the observation that the plant's stalk is easy to bend in two, but is very hard to break because of its many strong sinuous fibers. Poets use this to represent a close unbreakable relationship between two lovers or the members within a family, showing that no matter how far away they might live nothing can really separate them in heart.
