The philosophy of ancient Chinese art of living is to achieve the greatest harmony, balance and being concept of Yin and Yang, the opposite symbolism of interplay of forces in the universe. While 'Yin' represents to receptive, passive, cold and female force 'Yang' also represents the masculine force, movement and heat. Then ideal balance of Yin and Yang would reflect to the every step in way of life. Marriage is one of the most important moment since achievement immortal theory is to maintain genealogy as last forever for Chinese believe.

For Chinese, duck is one of symbol of the happiness of conjugal fidelity; pair of mandarin swimming amongst waterweeds is particularly favored design of art in 14th century. Displayed in Southwest they are said to attract luck of romance and love as long as they are kept in pairs.
